Find a site contact and correct permitted contact details.
You need
- CRM access
- The correct environment
- Authorization to handle that person's information
Steps
Open the Contacts area
Open CRM → Contacts and confirm that the selected website is correct.
Search for the contact
Use Search contacts…. Clear the category filter if needed.
Open the contact
Select the contact in the list to open the contact details.
Review the contact information
Review Contact details and Activity. Activity can show form submissions associated with the contact.
Correct permitted details
Correct First name, Last name, or Phone only when you have a verified correction.
Save the changes
Select Save changes and wait for the saved confirmation.
The contact's editable details are updated in that environment. This does not grant the person access to the Isadore site editor.
Add a contact, when authorized
Start creating the contact
In Contacts, select Create contact.
Enter verified information
Enter Email, First name, Last name, and Phone as appropriate. Use real, verified information only for genuine contact work.
Create the contact
Select Create contact and wait for the success confirmation.
You cannot edit an existing contact's Email field in the details form. Ask your agency about correcting an email address or suspected duplicate instead of creating conflicting records.
Keep accounts separate
Website contacts are not your Isadore editing team. Where the website uses member access, account and security actions for a contact affect that website's member account, not the platform account you use to manage content.
Do not use password-reset or deletion actions unless that is your approved responsibility.
Do not infer marketing consent from a form submission or contact record. Use the environment holding the real enquiry. Do not copy contact details into AI prompts or public screenshots. This guide does not instruct clients to transfer contact records between environments.
